Privacy policy

Pepteight is responsible for the personal data collected through pepteight.com. For any privacy request, email hello@pepteight.com or message us on Telegram.

Name, email address, phone number, shipping address, order contents and order history, plus basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) needed to serve and secure the site. We do not collect card numbers. Stripe handles those directly.

To fulfil your order and provide support (performance of a contract). To meet accounting and record-keeping obligations (legal obligation). To prevent fraud and secure the site (legitimate interests). To send marketing, only if you have opted in (consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

Stripe for payment processing, our hosting and store infrastructure providers, the carrier who delivers your parcel, and PostHog (EU) for analytics where you have consented. Carriers and customs authorities in the destination country receive the data required for customs clearance. We do not sell personal data.

Our operations are based outside the EEA and personal data is processed outside the EEA and the UK. Where data leaves the EEA or the UK, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Support correspondence is kept for up to 24 months. Records of marketing consent are kept until you withdraw that consent.

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdrawal of consent. Email hello@pepteight.com and we will answer within one month. You can also complain to your national data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).

Strictly necessary storage: your cart contents, your language and your cookie choice are kept in your browser's local storage so the site works. None of it is used to profile you.

Analytics, only with your consent: if you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to measure page views, product interest and checkout completion, and to record anonymised sessions with every form input masked. We use no advertising cookies and share no analytics data with ad networks. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser storage for pepteight.com.

The site is not aimed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
